Exhibiting at NeoCon 2027

NeoCon is the most important annual event for commercial interiors — contract furniture, textiles, lighting, flooring and materials — held every June at theMART in Chicago. The 2027 edition runs June 13–16 (Preview Day on the 13th, exhibits the 14th–16th). The show is unusual: much of it lives in theMART’s permanent multi-floor showrooms, but the temporary exhibit program on the 7th and 8th floors is where booth rentals come in — emerging brands and companies without a standing Chicago showroom take stand space there.

NeoCon’s audience is architects and designers (A&D), so the bar on finish and material honesty is higher than almost any other show. A booth that looks like a trade-show booth reads as a red flag to a specifier. The winning stands feel like a designed interior — real materials, considered lighting, and product shown the way it would live in a project.

Building for an A&D audience

At NeoCon the booth is a material sample at full scale. Designers touch surfaces, judge edges and read the lighting, so the construction quality has to survive that scrutiny. A 10x10 carries a focused product story for a single line; a 20x20 island lets a brand stage two or three vignettes; a 30x30 supports a full mini-showroom with seating and a meeting corner.

Lighting is the highest-impact spend — contract furniture and textiles are judged on color and texture, both of which live or die on the lighting design. We treat the lighting plan as a first-class part of the build, not an add-on.

theMART logistics

theMART runs on a defined union and loading-dock structure, and move-in for the temporary floors is tightly scheduled around the building’s freight elevators — there is no drive-on floor like a convention center. That makes crate sizing and a labeled load-in sequence genuinely important; an oversized crate that won’t fit the freight elevator is a real risk here. We pre-build and inspect in Las Vegas, ship 5–7 days, and crate to theMART’s elevator and dock constraints so the install goes cleanly.

The pre-build matters more at theMART than at a typical hall: the install window is short and the building’s logistics leave no room to solve a build problem on the floor.

Pricing for a NeoCon booth

Chicago is an 85% city on our cost model. A turnkey NeoCon stand runs from about $11,400 for a 10x10 to roughly $101,200 for a premium 30x30 island, all-inclusive. For an A&D show, expect the value to skew toward finish and lighting rather than raw size — a beautifully built 20x20 outperforms a plain 30x30 with this audience.

Every quote is one number: design, build, graphics, freight, install, dismantle and theMART paperwork.

★ Insider Notes ★

What Our Team Tells NeoCon 2027 Exhibitors

  • Spend on lighting and finish before size. NeoCon’s A&D audience reads materials up close; a flawless 20x20 beats a rough 30x30 every time.
  • Confirm crate dimensions against theMART’s freight-elevator clearances early — an oversized crate that can’t reach the temporary floors is the classic NeoCon disaster.
  • Treat the booth like an interior, not a trade-show stand — real materials and honest detailing earn credibility with specifiers.
  • Book your 7th/8th-floor move-in slot early; theMART schedules freight-elevator windows tightly around a packed show.
  • Plan product like a vignette — show furniture and textiles the way they’d appear in a real project, with seating people can actually use.
  • Keep electrical and any rigging orders in before theMART’s advance deadline to avoid premium on-site rates.

NeoCon 2027 Booth Rental — Buyer Questions

Real answers with real numbers. Click any question to expand.

Where is NeoCon 2027 held?

NeoCon 2027 takes place June 13–16, 2027 at theMART (The Mart) in Chicago — Preview Day June 13, exhibits June 14–16.

How much does a NeoCon booth cost?

A turnkey NeoCon stand runs from about $11,400 for a 10x10 to roughly $101,200 for a premium 30x30 island, all-inclusive. Chicago is an 85% city on our cost model.

Where do rented booths go at NeoCon?

Permanent brands use theMART’s standing showrooms; rented booths are for the temporary exhibit program on the 7th and 8th floors — emerging brands and companies without a Chicago showroom.

Do you handle theMART union labor and freight elevators?

Yes. Our crews work within theMART’s union structure and we crate to the building’s freight-elevator and dock constraints, with a labeled load-in sequence for the short install window.

Is the booth shipped from Chicago or Las Vegas?

It is pre-built and inspected at our Las Vegas warehouse, then shipped 5–7 days to theMART. The Chicago crew replicates an approved build.

How important is lighting at NeoCon?

Critical. Contract furniture and textiles are judged on color and texture, which depend entirely on lighting — we treat the lighting plan as a first-class part of the build.

What size booth do most NeoCon exhibitors take?

A 10x10 for a single focused line; a 20x20 island for two or three vignettes; a 30x30 for a full mini-showroom with seating and a meeting corner.

What’s included in the price?

A custom 3D rendering, full graphics, round-trip freight from Las Vegas, certified install and dismantle, lighting design, electrical and paperwork coordination, and a dedicated project manager.

How fast can I get a quote?

Submit the form with your NeoCon booth number and a custom 3D rendering plus one all-inclusive price is back within 24 hours.

How early should I book for NeoCon?

Book 12–16 weeks out; theMART move-in windows and freight-elevator slots are limited around the show.

Can I reuse the booth next year?

Yes — we store it 90 days at no cost and refresh finishes and graphics for the next NeoCon or your next A&D show.

Should I rent or buy for NeoCon?

For brands without a standing Chicago showroom exhibiting once a year, renting wins on cash flow and lets you refresh materials each season. Buying suits brands with a heavy multi-show A&D calendar.
